March 5th 2005 - Pre-Alpha Client Project Update

An update on the project, I am still attempting to get the word out in various message boards and just recently recieved a response at the polserver.com forum. A programmer known as Maximilian Scherr posted for the first time about his and Folko's UO pre-alpha client server emulator project. Max sent me an email and said the project was never finished but was started about 2 years ago, he said it was about 80% done. He also said he may finish the project during his next vacation. Max posted 3 screenshots of his project, see them at the Pre-Alpha Client Project page.
February 20th 2005 - Site Moved

Thanks to Wintermute (wintermute_turing_ai) of the Ultima Offline UO Pre-Alpha Experience (http://uol.vanilluh.com) this page has moved to http://raz.vanilluh.com/ with a lot more space. If you have any Ultima Online Alpha test screen shots send me an email and I will add it. Full credit is given to the screen shot originators.

Richard Garriott's Latest Game

Richard Garriott's current company Destination Games partnered with NCSOFT have released a new game it's called Tabula Rasa. It is an online RPG and is set in a new world and time. The weapons appear to be advanced future technology, glowing swords, lightning, and other worldy things. It was ranked as a UGO Top Games of 2005.

My Favorite Ultima Sites: Auric's Ultima Moongates, Andrew's Place, Mental4's Ultima.scorched.com, Telavar's Mysterious Sosaria & LaWizard's UO ChatZone.

ORIGIN Pint Glass Award: In 1999 I received an Origin Pint Glass from The Drunk Guy that's in Ultima IX. He was one of the lead programmers for Ultima IX. It's a nice award.
